● Barcode Detection Target
Set the target page in the document to detect barcodes on.
- All sheets
- First sheet only
This is the factory default setting.
● Barcodes per page
Specify the maximum number of barcodes to be detected per page from 1 to 20.
Note that the bigger the maximum number is, the longer it takes for scanning.
The factory default setting is [1].
Output
File Format
Set a file format of images.
● JPEG
● PDF
This is the factory default setting.
● SinglePage PDF File
ATTENTION
[JPEG] can not be specified when [Black & White] is selected for [Image Mode].
HINT
When [Black & White] is selected for [Image Mode], if the setting for [File Format] is
changed from [PDF] to [JPEG], or from [SinglePage PDF File] to [JPEG], a confirmation
message to confirm whether to change [Image Mode] to [Grayscale] is displayed.
When [JPEG] is selected, specify the following item:
● JPEG Compression
Adjust the data size of a JPEG image.
- Large
The file size is smaller but the image quality is lower than documents scanned using
the [Medium] setting.
- Medium
This is the factory default setting.
- Small
The image quality is higher but the file size is larger than documents scanned using
the [Medium] setting.
Scanning speed may also be reduced.
