Starting with Intermec Shell
Afewsecondsafteryouhaveswitchedonthepowertotheprinterand
theinitializationiscompleted,thecountdownmenuoftheIntermec
Shellprogramwillbedisplayed:
ENTER=SHELL

Nowyouhave5secondstoenterIntermecShellbypressing<Enter>.
Thelowerlinetellsyouhowmuchtimeyouhaveleft.Shouldthetime
runoutbeforeyouhavetakenanyaction,thelastselectedapplication
inIntermecShellwillbeopened.Ifyouusethesameapplicationallthe
time,youwillonlyneedtoswitchonthepower,oncetheapplicationhas
beenselected.
Ifnootherapplicationhasyetbeenselected,thecurrentversionof
IntermecFingerprintwillbeopenedwith"auto"selectedasstdI/O
channel(seeIntermecFingerprintmanuals).Whenthecountdownis
completed,youwillseetheselinesinthedisplay:

Ifyouwanttoselectanotherapplication,justcyclethepowerandenter
IntermecShellbeforethecountdowniscompleted.
WhenyouentertheIntermecShellfromthecountdownmenus,the
SelectApplicationmenuwillbedisplayed:

Inthismenu,youcanchoosebetweentwooptions:
·Press<Enter>togotomenuswhereyoucanselectanapplication
program.
·Press<>togototheFacilitiespartofIntermecShell.
