Parallax errors are to be
avoided.
20. Loosen the switch contact set
screws and adjust the switch
contact to a graduation mark in
the middle of the scale on the
device body. Now tighten the set
screws, observing the proper
torque ( Ä Chapter 11.1 "Tight-
ening torque" on page 78).
Hold the device vertically and

with the test rod, move the float
in the flow direction until the
switch contact switches (con-
tinuity meter). Now slowly return
the float to its original position
and, with the aid of the continuity
meter, determine at which scale
value the switch contact
switches off.
22. Adjust the display base plate
with attached plastic housing
and scale so that the cut-off
value on the display scale corre-
sponds to the value on the scale
on the device body. Align the
display base plate perpendicular
to the device body.
If the value on the display scale

matches the value on the scale
on the device body, secure the
mounting screws of the display
base plate, observing the proper
torque ( Ä Chapter 11.1 "Tight-
ening torque" on page 78).
