8.5.1 Cleaning

It is the responsibility of the operator to
establish appropriate intervals and pro-
cedures for cleaning the individual
parts of the device. It must be ensured
that the parts are not damaged during
the cleaning process. When using
cleaning agents, it must be ensured
that these are not aggressive to the
parts and that there will be no dan-
gerous reactions with the media res-
idue. Damaged parts must be
replaced.

Risk of injury due to improper
cleaning!
The device may still contain media
residue.
To protect against hazardous
media residue in the device,
wear personal protective
equipment
Do not use cleaning agents
which may lead to dangerous
reactions with media residue
All requirements specified in
the safety data sheets must be
observed when handling or
otherwise using the medium
Residue of hazardous media
inside the device can cause
serious injury
