2.1.11 Connect Sources and Initial Power Up

1. Assign the projector with a unique IP address. Each projector is given a default IP address; however, if
connecting the projector to an existing network it must be assigned a new IP address. For first time
installations, assign the IP address in the Configuration/Administrator menu, via the CDP. For more

2. In the Configuration>Administrator>Serial Baud Rate menu, set the baud rate to match the external
device connected (i.e., an automation controller). The projector's default baud rate is 9600 Kbps.
3. From the CDP Lamp menu, select Change Lamp and define the type of lamp installed, serial number and
number of hours logged on the lamp (if any).
4. With all components installed and connected, power-up the projector, as described in 

6. Perform LampLOC™ alignment immediately on the newly installed lamp. This ensures the lamp is
positioned correctly to achieve maximum light output. Refer to
