Adjusting Tilt and Leveling

when it has been levelled.
For an ideal installation, the CP2000-M/MR lens surface should be centered and parallel to the screen - this
orientation helps to ensure optimized lens performance with minimal offset. Choose a sturdy mounting surface
that allows for this. If this position is not possible (such as when the projector is significantly higher than the
center of the screen), it is better to rely on offset rather than extra tilt.

2.3.1 Adjusting Tilt

Before adjusting tilt, ensure the projector is centered as much as possible to the theater screen. Check with
theater personnel for the degree of screen tilt, or measure this incline with a protractor at the screen. Then tilt
the projector to closely match the screen tilt angle by extending or retracting the projector's four adjustable
feet.
IMPORTANT! The front-to-back tilt of the projector must not exceed 15°. This limit ensures safe lamp
operation and proper position of the liquid cooling reservoir in the projector. For best optical performance,
avoid tilting the projector excessively. Use vertical offset of the lens instead.

2.3.2 Adjusting Feet/Leveling

Located on the bottom of the projector are 4 adjustable feet. To
adjust the height and level of the projector, extend or retract the
feet by rotating them (Figure 2-10). Once the required
adjustment is made tighten the lock nut. The 2 back feet
measure 203mm (8") in order to achieve a 15° tilt when
necessary. NOTE: When installing the CP2000-M/MR on the
optional Rack Stand (P/N: 108-282101-xx or 108-272101-xx)
the foot lock brackets (P/N: 119-100101-xx) must be installed
for safety purposes.
