3.5.8 Advanced Menu

The Advanced Menu consists of six menus that enable advanced operators, administrators and installers to
define numerous system operating parameters, load and/or display test patterns, work with lamp settings,
adjust lenses, setup various users and define their access rights.

Advanced: Preference Menu

The Advanced: Preference menu provides access to various system parameters (Figure 3-26). For more

Summary Advanced: Preference Menu Options

• Lamp Expiry: Enter the number of hours (0 - xxxx) that are expected to be logged on the current lamp.
Enable Expiry Message to trigger a message when the lamp reaches the set hours.
• Alarm Triggers: Choose the conditions to trigger an Alarm Window (in addition to interlocks and problems
with software communication or the lamp which are all permanent triggers). It is strongly recommended Fan
Fail and Over Temperature remain enabled during normal operation. Disable only in rare emergencies
when the alarm appears to be malfunctioning without real errors.The Lamp Rotation alarm trigger setting
defaults to OFF.
• Language: Choose a default language for all web UI screens.
• Data Logging: Choose the level of data logging for the projector. Options include Minimal, 
Normal and Debug.
• Temperature Display Mode: Select whether to display temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
