5. Remove the shield ground screw.
For the 2.4W and 3.0kW models, the shield ground screw is located at the end of the ballast.
For the 1.9kW model, it is located at the top of the ballast.
6. Remove and retain the screws, flat washers, and lock washers from the (white) cathode and
(black) anode terminals.
Polarity markings on ballast: + is white, - is black.
7. Disconnect the black wire terminal #1 and #2 tabs from the AC line filter.
8. Remove and replace the lamp power supply.
9. Remove the two mounting side brackets from the power supply and retain them.
10. Secure the two mounting side brackets to the new power supply.
11. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Removing the AC line filter

Complete the following procedure to remove the AC line filter.
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
• SHOCK HAZARD! Disconnect the product from AC before installing, moving, servicing, cleaning,
removing components, or opening any enclosure.
Estimated time to replace: 10 minutes
1. Turn the projector off and allow the projector to cool for a minimum of 5 minutes.
2. Disconnect the AC power cord from the rear of the projector.
