Removing the light engine handle

Complete the following procedure to remove the light engine handle.
Estimated time to replace: 8 minutes.
1. Remove the top cover (on page 36).
2. Remove the cross-member (on page 39).
3. Remove the four screws from the light engine duct.
4. Release two captive screws securing the light engine handle to the top of the light engine.
5. Remove the light engine handle.
6. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Removing the light engine

Complete the following procedure to remove the light engine.
Replacement time: 31 minutes.
1. Remove the top cover (on page 36).
2. Remove the lens side cover (on page 38).
3. Remove the lens side, top-side cover (on page 38).
4. Remove the cross-member (on page 39).
5. Remove the shutter assembly (on page 66).
6. Disconnect the liquid cooling hoses from the liquid cooling module.
7. Remove nine screws securing the card cage lid.
8. Remove the six screws securing the LVDS cables to the panel driver.
9. Disconnect the LVDS cables from the panel driver.
10. Remove the three screws securing the light engine base plate to the optical assembly.
