3. Loosen the three quick-release screws securing the top-side cover.

4. Remove the top-side cover.

5. To install the top-side cover, follow these steps in reverse order.

Remove the cross-member

Complete the following procedure to remove the cross-member.

Estimated time to replace: 1 minute.

1. Remove the top cover (on page 36).

2. Remove the two screws securing the cross-member to the internal frame.

3. Remove the cross-member.

4. To install the cross-member, follow these steps in reverse order.

Complete the following procedure to replace the quick release screws securing the covers to the

projector.

Estimated time to replace: 1 minute per screw.

1. Remove the projector cover that contains the screw to replace.

2. To expose the back side of the cover, flip it over.

3. Using a small pair of wire cutters, cut the steel retaining washer if installed.

4. Remove the steel washer.

5. Remove the screw from the mounting hole.

6. Place a plastic washer over the new screw.
