1. Remove the lamp (on page 63).
2. Locate the lamp contact board within the lamp compartment.
3. Remove the two screws securing the lamp alignment block to the bottom of the lamp
compartment.
4. Carefully pull the block forward to expose the harness attached to the board.
5. Disconnect the harness from the board.
6. Remove the block with the board still attached.
7. Lay the block on a flat surface with the board facing up.
8. Remove the two screws, two springs, and two standoffs securing the board to the block.
Retain all of the components to attach to the replacement board.
9. Remove the lamp contact board.
10. Using the springs, screws and standoffs removed in step 8, attach the replacement lamp
contact board to the lamp alignment block.
Make sure that the lamp contact board is in the correct orientation so the lamp memory board
on the lamp module can mate properly when the lamp is inserted.
11. To re-install, complete steps 9 to 1.

Removing the rear infrared sensor

Complete the following procedure to remove the rear infrared (IR) sensor.
Estimated time to replace: 3 minutes.
1. Remove the rear cover (on page 37).
2. Remove the four screws securing the rear IR sensor to the LED status display PC board.
