3. Clean the integrator rod with compressed ionized air.
4. If necessary, clean the integrator rod with acetone or isopropyl alcohol using a clean, lint-free
cloth.
5. Lower the integrator into the optics tray with the polished end toward the lamp compartment.
6. Place the spring clip and standoff over the threaded shaft.
7. Install the integrator rod adjustment knob.
8. Clean the integrator rod with compressed ionized air.
9. Replace the optics cover, the contrast aperture and light tube panel.
10. If required, adjust the fold mirror (on page 21) and the integrator (on page 21).

Removing the glass lens

Complete the following procedure to remove the 29 mm glass lens.
Estimated time to replace: 18 minutes.
1. Remove the rear light tube.
2. Remove the four screws securing the light tube lid.
3. Remove the light tube lid.
4. Wearing clean lint-free gloves, pull the glass lens up and out of the light tube.
5. To re-install, complete these steps in reverse order.

Replacing the UV filter

Complete the following procedure to replace the UV filter.
Estimated time to replace: 18 minutes.
