Removing The Card Cage - Christie J Series Service Manual

1. On the rear input panel of the projector, disconnect the sync cable from the RS232 port.
2. On the primary input source device, disconnect the sync cable input A.
3. If applicable, on the secondary input source device, disconnect the sync cable input B.
4. On the output device (or other projector sync input, if applicable), disconnect the sync cable
output.
5. Remove the 3D stereo sync cable.
6. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Removing the card cage

Complete the following procedure to remove the card cage.
Estimated time to replace: 27 minutes.
1. Remove the top cover (on page 36).
2. Remove the cross-member (on page 39).
3. Remove the rear cover (on page 37).
4. Remove the lens side cover (on page 38).
5. Remove the lens side top-side cover (on page 38).
6. Remove the three screws securing the card cage air duct.
