Removing the igniter

Complete the following procedure to remove the igniter.

Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.

•

SHOCK HAZARD! Disconnect the product from AC before installing, moving, servicing, cleaning,

removing components, or opening any enclosure.

Estimated time to replace: 25 minutes

1. Remove the lamp power supply (on page 50).

2. Remove the screw and lock washer from the anode connection.

3. Remove the screw and lock washer from the cathode connection.

4. Remove the screw and lock washer securing the igniter.

5. Remove the igniter assembly.

6. Remove the three remaining terminal connections.

7. Remove the igniter.

8. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Complete the following procedure to remove the shutter assembly.

Estimated time to replace: 13 minutes.

1. Remove the top cover (on page 36).

2. Remove the lens side cover (on page 38).

3. Remove the cross-member (on page 39).

4. Remove the nine screws from the panel driver cover.
