Remove and replace the low voltage power

supply

Complete the following procedure to remove the low voltage power supply (LVPS).

Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.

•

SHOCK HAZARD! Disconnect the product from AC before installing, moving, servicing, cleaning,

removing components, or opening any enclosure.

Estimated time to replace: 11 minutes.

1. Remove the card cage (on page 60).

2. Remove the two screws securing the LVPS to the card cage.

3. Remove the LVPS.

4. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Complete the following procedure to replace the LCD display cover.

Estimated time to replace: 3 minutes.

1. Remove the LCD display (on page 54).

2. To peel the cover off of the rear skin, push the cover from the back.

3. Remove the cover.

4. Remove the protective plastic from the back of the replacement cover.

5. Remove the backing from the adhesive area on the back of the cover.

6. Adhere the LCD display cover to the recessed pocket.

7. Remove the protective plastic from the front of the cover.
