6. To re-install, complete these steps in reverse order.

Removing the CT lens mount

Complete the following procedure to remove the CT lens mount.
Estimated time to replace: 28 minutes.
1. Remove the top cover (on page 36).
2. Remove the front cover (on page 36).
3. Disconnect the harness connections to the lens mount.
4. Remove the four screws and three springs securing the lens mount to the light engine.
5. Remove the lens mount.
6. To re-install, complete these steps in reverse order.
When replacing the lens mount, replace the springs in the same locations as they were
removed.

Removing the lens mount handle

Complete the following procedure to remove the lens mount handle.
Estimated time to replace: 13 minutes.
1. Remove the ILS (on page 87) or CT (on page 88) lens mount.
2. Remove the set screw that secures the handle to the handle mount dowel and discard it.
3. Remove the lens mount handle.

4. Apply Loctite to the new set screw.
5. Insert the set screw into the shaft of the lens mount handle.
6. Turn the set screw clockwise two full turns.
7. Position the handle mount dowel with the flat surface facing up.
8. Slide the handle shaft onto the dowel with the set screw facing up.
9. Torque the set screw to 8in-lb.
