Prerequisites
A network cable used for monitoring is prepared.
Procedure
Step 1 Connect one end of the network cable to the gigabit Ethernet port 1 on the server.

Port Description
Gigabit Ethernet ports 3 and 4; connected to the LAN switch
USB port
Gigabit Ethernet port 1; connected to the LAN switch
Gigabit Ethernet port 2; connected to the LAN switch
BMC management network port; connected to the PC to manage
the server; protected by a security protection mechanism
Connected to the monitor
Server serial port; connected to the SMS modem
