4.11.4 Installing an ECC Collector

Procedure
Step 1 Determine the ECC collector mounting holes in the network cabling cabinet according to the
engineering drawing, and install floating nuts.
Step 2 Gently put the ECC collector into the network cabling cabinet, as shown by (1) in
4-144.
Step 3 Secure the ECC collector in the network cabling cabinet by tightening the M6 screws
clockwise on the left and right mounting ears, as shown by (2) in

Step 4 Install a power cable between the ECC collector and the power distribution unit.

4.11.5 (Optional) Installing the VCN500

Procedure
Step 1 Determine the VCN500 mounting holes in the network cabling cabinet according to the
engineering drawing, and install floating nuts.
Step 2 Place the VCN500 with caution into the network cabling cabinet, and gently press down
buttons on the upper and lower mounting ears, as shown in
