Follow-up Procedure
Before connecting the power plug of a device to the PDU2000, loosen the locking device on
the PDU2000. After connecting the power plug, tighten the locking device.

4.5.7.2 (Optional) Installing a Branch Ground Bar

Context
A primary ground bar is provided in the PDU8000. Ground terminals of cabinets inside the
module are connected to the ground bar by ground cables with a minimum cross-sectional
area of 16 mm
cabinets so that cabinets nearby can be grounded by connecting to the ground bars.
Install one ground bar inside each of battery cabinets or server cabinets closest to PDU8000.
The BOM number of the ground bar is 21170398.
Procedure
Step 1 Remove the two M8 screws from the ground bar.

Step 2 Open the cabinet rear door, install the ground bar on the topmost position of the mounting bar
(outside) in the 19-inch rack, and secure the ground bar using the M8 screws you removed.
