4.6.4.2.2 Installing a Door Frame
Procedure
Step 1 Assemble a door frame.
When an audible and visual alarm is triggered, the alarm needs to be immediately noticed by
someone who enters the equipment room. The revolving door frame has only one mounting
hole for the audible and visual alarm. Therefore, the end door upper frame with a mounting
hole for the audible and visual alarm needs to face the equipment room door during
installation.

It is recommended that the assembly be completed by multiple persons in teamwork.
To facilitate assembly, lay the door posts, upper frame installation kit, and auxiliary bar on the floor.
Remove the post side panels by pulling them out from the top of the posts, as shown by
(1) in
Figure
4-71.
Assemble a door frame by connecting the two door posts, upper frame mounting kit of a
double revolving door, and the auxiliary bar using M6 hexagon screw assemblies, as
shown in
Figure
4-71.

After the assembly is complete, verify that the door post is aligned with the upper frame
installation kit.
