Corrective actions
Power off and wait a few minutes before

powering on again.
When the ACT indicator is off and the MNR

indicator flashes after power-on, download
the embedded software using the Boot
Configuration Tool.
After the embedded software is completely

downloaded to the card, power off and
then power on the card again. The ACT
indicator should flash and the FAIL
indicator should be off after power-on if
the problem is due to a damaged software
bank.
If the FAIL indicator remains on, replace the

NPT-1020 unit.
Power off and wait a few minutes before

powering on again.
When the ACT indicator is off and the MNR

indicator flashes after power-on, download
the embedded software using the Boot
Configuration Tool.
After the embedded software is completely

downloaded to the card, power off and
then power on the card again. The ACT
indicator should flash and the FAIL
indicator should be off after power-on if
the problem is due to a damaged software
bank.
If the FAIL indicator remains on, replace the

NPT-1020 unit.
