FUEL PUMP
REMOVAL
When removing the fuel tank, do not
allow flames or sparks near the working
area and drain the residual gasoline into a
container.
Remove the floorboard (refer to the
"FRAME COVERS
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION" section in
the chapter 2).
Remove four nuts and fuel tank bridge plate.
Disconnect the fuel hoses from the fuel
pump.
Disconnect the fuel vacuum hose from the
intake manifold.
Disconnect fuel pump connector.
Remove six bolts.
Remove the fuel ump by using two
screwdrivers as shown.
