Meaning
This item allows you to set the space between each SO-DIMM memory module, in thousandths of an inch.
This item applies to open loop throttling only.
This item allows you to enable open loop throttling. Open loop throttling is a way for the chipset to reduce the
temperature of the on-board memory modules. This is accomplished by reducing traffic on the memory bus,
based on an estimate of the memory modules' temperature. The current traffic to/from the memory modules
is used to estimate the temperature of the memory modules.
Open loop throttling is most commonly used with memory modules lacking temperature sensors. The default
behavior of your memory modules is to use closed loop throttling instead.
The following items affect open-loop throttling: the Inlet Temp, Temp Rise, Air Flow, Altitude, and DIMM
Pitch items.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.

Tylersburg IOH Configuration sub-submenu

The Tylersburg IOH Configuration sub-submenu allows you to configure the
Intel X57 (code named Tylersburg) I/O hub (IOH).
Setting the items below to the wrong values can cause the unit to malfunction.
❖ Note that the Intel VT for Directed I/O Configuration sub-submenu allows you
to enable Intel VT-d (Intel Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O).
Meaning
This item reports the revision identifier for the Tylersburg IOH configuration.
This item allows you to enable isochronous traffic on the Intel QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) interfaces.
One or more QPI interface connects each CPU to the I/O Hub. The link layer implements flow control
using a credit/debit scheme to prevent the receiver's buffer from overflowing.
When set to Enabled, additional link credits are allocated for isochronous traffic flow control; making
isochronous traffic a priority.
When set to Auto, if the I/O hub allows isochronous traffic, then it is granted additional link credits.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
This item allows you to enable Intel I/O acceleration technology (I/OAT) for high-traffic volume on a
server.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
This item allows you to enable Direct Cache Access (DCA) support. DCA, a feature of the Intel I/OAT,
delivers data directly into a processor's memory cache, and results in decreased CPU usage.
