Runtime Error Logging submenu

The Runtime Error Logging submenu allows you to enable runtime error
detection, logging, and correction.
Meaning
This item allows you to enable PCI runtime error logging.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
This item allows you to enable PCI error logging.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight
SHB-5520 board.
This item allows you to enable PCI advanced error reporting (AER). AER is an
advanced version of PCI runtime error logging.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight
SHB-5520 board.
This item allows you to set the correctable error threshold rate for the memory
modules. When errors (for a memory module) have been detected at a higher
rate than the correctable error threshold rate, this can indicate a hardware
problem with the module.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight
SHB-5520 board.

Spread spectrum (clockgen) configuration submenu

The Spread spectrum (clockgen) configuration submenu allows you to enable
the spread spectrum option of the clock generator.
Meaning
This item allows you to enable the spread spectrum option of the clock generator. The spread spectrum
option reduces the spectral density of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) that your unit can generate.
After changing this item, you must save your BIOS settings and then shut-down your unit and completely
disconnect it from its power source. After reconnecting its power source and booting, the change will take
effect.
When Enabled, CPU is limited from performing close to the maximum clock speed, but might reduce EMI
generation.
When Disabled, the CPU performs at closer to the maximum clock speed, but might increase EMI
generation.
Note that, when using a SHB-5520 with a Matrox Supersight backplane, this option must remain disabled.
