Important
Installing or replacing an optical disk drive
One 5-inch (slim) optical disk drive (a CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive) is typically

pre-installed
in the DVD drive bay of the Matrox Supersight unit (located in the
center of the drive-tray).
To install a new DVD drive (or any other 5-inch (slim) optical disk drive).
1. Remove the chassis cover. For more information, see the Removing the chassis cover,
earlier in this chapter.
2. Remove the drive-tray. For more information, see Removing the drive-tray, earlier
in this chapter.
3. Remove the two screws holding the protective bar in place, and remove the
protective bar.
4. Remove the four screws used to connect the DVD enclosure to the drive-tray.
*. Note that you can request a unit that does not have the CD/DVD drive pre-installed.
