Paired PCIe connectors are connectors where either: one works at x16, or both work at x8.
• The two possible configurations for your Matrox Supersight Solo are:
- 7+6 PCIe connector configuration. This configuration groups the PCIe
connectors into a group of 7 and a group of 6, each controlled by a PCIe 2.0
switch. Note that this configuration is not available on the 8-connector version
of Matrox Supersight Solo. With this configuration, PCIe connector 1
communicates at x8, and PCIe connectors 8 and 9 are shared. Each pathway
to and from a PCIe 2.0 switch in the diagram below is labeled with the
maximum number of PCIe lanes that it can handle.
