Meaning
This item allows you to enable temperature hysteresis and set the temperature hysteresis minimum value, in
degrees Celsius. This item is used to calculate the temperature at which closed loop throttling ends. Closed
loop throttling begins when the memory module's temperature reaches the maximum permissible
temperature minus the guard band temperature offset. It stops when the temperature falls back to the
maximum permissible temperature less the temperature hysteresis minimum and the guard band temperature
offset.
For example, if the memory reports a maximum device temperature of 75°C, and the Guard Band Temp item
is set to 2 °C and the Temp Hysteresis item is set to 3 °C, throttling will start when the temperature sensors
reach 73 °C (that is, 75 °C minus the guard band temperature offset of 2 °C). Throttling will stop when
temperature gets back to 70 °C (75 °C minus the guard band temperature offset of 2 °C, minus the
temperature hysteresis minimum of 3 °C).
When set to Disabled, closed loop throttling begins when the memory module's temperature reaches the
maximum permissible temperature minus the guard band temperature offset. It stops when the temperature
falls back to the maximum permissible temperature less the guard band temperature offset.
This item applies to closed loop throttling only.
The maximum permissible temperature is determined by the hardware and cannot be changed.

This item allows you to set the maximum inlet temperature of the processor fan on the Matrox Supersight
SHB-5520 board, in degrees Celsius.
This item applies to open loop throttling only.
This item allows you to set the maximum temperature rise of the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board, in
degrees Celsius.
This item applies to open loop throttling only.
This item allows you to set the airflow speed of the fans installed on the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board,
measured in mm/sec.
This item applies to open loop throttling only.
This item allows you to set the height of the Matrox Supersight unit above (positive number) or below
(negative number) sea level, measured in meters.
This item applies to open loop throttling only.
