Inspecting the Matrox Supersight package
You should check the contents of your Matrox Supersight package when you first
receive it. If something is missing or damaged, contact your Matrox representative.

*. The exact amount of storage and memory available might change over time. Contact your Matrox representative for more
details. The number of hard disk drives installed in the chassis is determined by your order and the number of Matrox
Supersight SHB-5520 boards installed. If you ordered more hard disk drives than Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 boards,
additional hard disk drives are shipped as additional parts.
†. You can request a Matrox Supersight unit without a pre-installed CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive. Contact your Matrox representa-
tive for more details.
‡. The Matrox Supersight e2 unit comes with 4 PCIe/EPS power cables (with 6 + 2 connectors) either installed (one per
Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 installed) or bundled as additional components. With the Matrox Supersight Solo unit, one is
installed and the other 3 of these cables are bundled as additional components.
Inspecting the Matrox Supersight package
Details
Includes the following components pre-installed in a metal chassis:
• An SHB with memory modules
• A switched-fabric backplane.

• A mass storage device
and its associated connection and power
cable.
• Microsoft Windows 7 for Embedded Systems, 64-bit
(pre-installed on the mass storage device).
• A CD-RW/DVD-ROM 5-inch (slim) optical disk drive
associated connection and power cable.
• Three cooling fans and a power supply.
• Two retainer bars and a bag of pressure feet (used to secure the
SHB to the unit).
• 4 additional PCIe/EPS power cables with 6+2 connectors
• 1 LP4 to floppy power cable.
• A key to unlock the front panel of the unit.
Two DVDs are included with every Matrox Supersight unit:
• A DVD that includes Matrox Supersight system drivers, utilities,
applications needed to use Matrox Supersight, and a ReadMe file.
• A Microsoft Windows Rescue DVD.
