USB Configuration submenu

The USB Configuration submenu allows you to configure specific settings of the
USB ports.
Meaning
This item lists the connected USB devices (for example, two keyboards, two mice, and two hubs).
This item allows you to enable booting with a USB key, and provides legacy USB support for the USB mouse
and USB keyboard.
When set to Disabled, legacy USB support will be disabled. You will not be able to use any USB device when
booting the unit.
When set to Enabled, legacy USB support will be enabled. You can use a USB device when booting the unit.
When set to Auto, legacy USB support will be enabled if USB devices are connected. Otherwise, legacy USB
support will be disabled.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
Generic legacy USB device support for USB 2.0 devices is controlled using the USB 2.0 (EHCI) Support item
of the USB configuration submenu of the Chipset menu.
This item is a work-around for operating systems that do not support an enhanced Host controller interface
(EHCI) for USB 2.0 devices.
Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) operating systems (and greater) support an EHCI Host
controller for USB 2.0 devices; if using such an operating system, you can set this item to Disabled.
However, you should leave this item set to Enabled to support all Windows Pre-SP2 operating systems.
If using Microsoft Windows XP , you need to install Service Pack 2 (SP2) or greater to take advantage of all the
features available in the Matrox Supersight unit and MIL.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
This item allows full USB support for operating systems that do not support USB.
If your operating system offers full USB support, this item can be set to Disabled.
This item allows you to set the number of seconds that the operating system will wait for the USB mass
storage device to initialize.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
