Main menu

This section describes all the items of the Main menu. Refer to the section
entitledThe Legend window subsection of the The BIOS setup utility section for
guidelines on navigating within this menu.
❖ Note that all default settings have an asterisk * next to them.
Meaning
This item reports the name of the vendor of the BIOS.
This item reports the core version of the BIOS.
This item reports the project version of the BIOS.
This item reports the date of build of the BIOS.
This item reports the reference number assigned to Matrox Supersight.
This item reports the total amount of memory (RAM) in Mbytes that is installed on your Matrox Supersight
SHB-5520 board. This item also reports the memory format; for example, DDR3.
System Memory Size = Total RAM of SO-DIMM memory modules installed in unit.
This item allows you to select the language of the BIOS Setup utility.
Note that currently the only language available is English.
This item allows you to change the date in MM/DD/YYYY format:
• To alternate between fields, press the Tab key.
• To increase the value of each field by 1, press the + key.
• To decrease the value of each field by 1, press the - key.
You can also set the month, date, and year fields by typing in their values.
This item allows you to change the time in HH:MM:SS format:
• To alternate between fields, press the Tab key.
• To increase the value of each field by 1, press the + key.
• To decrease the value of each field by 1, press the - key.
You can also set the hour, minute, and second fields by typing in their values.
This item reports the level of access to the BIOS Setup utility.
When this item is set to Administrator, you have full access to all items in the BIOS Setup utility.
When this item is set to User, you have only limited access to items in the BIOS Setup utility.
Note that the access level can be changed in the Security menu.
