Meaning
This item allows you to enable the fault resilient booting level 2 (FRB-2) timer. If a watchdog
timeout occurs during POST, the FRB-2 timer will attempt to boot using an alternate
processor. If your unit hangs during POST, an asynchronous system reset occurs.
This item allows you to specify how long the FRB-2 timer should wait before timing out
(failing).
This item allows you to specify how your unit should respond when the FRB level 2 timer
times out.
If this item is set to Reset, your unit will reboot.
If this item is set to Power down, your unit will power down and shut off.
If this item is set to Do nothing, the FRB level 2 failure will be logged, but the boot process
will continue as normal.
This item allows you to enable the operating system's watchdog timer. This timer can only
be shut off by Intel management software after the operating system loads. This timer helps
determine whether the operating system successfully loaded.
This item allows you to specify how long the operating system's watchdog timer should
wait before timing out (failing).
This item allows you to specify how your unit should respond when the operating system's
watchdog timer times out (fails).
If this item is set to Reset, your unit will reboot.
If this item is set to Power down, your unit will power down and shut off.
If this item is set to Do nothing, the OS watchdog failure will be logged, but the operating
system will continue as normal.
