Fan power-supply connectors

The fan power-supply connectors are 4-pin standard, 2 mm, male connectors.
Two of the three fan power-supply connectors on your Matrox Supersight
SHB-5520 are used to power the fans that cool the CPUs. The third connector
can be used to power a peripheral fan on an adapter board.
The following table describes the 4-pin fan power supply connector.
Pin Voltage
* Ground.

2 Power 12 V.
3 Reads the speed of the fan (TACH).
4 Sets the speed of the fan, using pulse-width modulation (PWM).
*. This pin is not used with a 3-pin fan power supply connector.
