Meaning
This item allows you to select the unit's response when power is reapplied to the unit after a power loss (for
example, an unplugged power cable).
When set to Power off, the unit will stay powered off when power is reapplied after a power failure.
When set to Power on, the unit will power on when power is reapplied after a power failure.
When set to Last state, the unit will return to its last state when power is reapplied after a power failure. If
power had been on before the power failure, the unit will power on. If power had been off before the power
failure, the unit will stay powered off.
This item allows you to enable the use of the high precision timer (HPT). The HPT can produce periodic
interrupts at a much higher resolution than the real-time clock and is often used to synchronize multimedia
streams.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
These items allow you to enable specific PCIe ports. If a specific PCIe port is disabled, you cannot
transmit/receive data on that port.
Note that these items should not be changed.
This item allows you to enable the on-board graphic controller.
When Enabled, the on-board graphic controller on your Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 is used instead of an
external third-party graphics display board that you added to your Matrox Supersight unit.
When Disabled, your external graphics display board, that you added to the Matrox Supersight unit, is used
instead of the on-board graphic controller on your Matrox Supersight SHB-5520.
This item allows you to enable SATA wake-on activity. Wake-on activity forces your SATA device to
immediately respond to activity on the line (such as read or write requests), transferring from a sleep state
(C3/C4) to a more active state immediately.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
