This item allows some older DOS programs to use memory wraparound with more recent Windows operating
systems. Older DOS programs require the use of memory wraparound to avoid memory errors.
If your Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board might run an older, DOS-based application that requires memory
wraparound, set this item to Upon Request.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
This item allows you to control the display of messages from devices in the unit during startup. Certain
devices, such as third-party boards, can have ROM messages stored in their BIOS that can be displayed
during startup.
When set to Force BIOS, third-party ROM messages will be forced to display during the boot sequence.
When set to Keep Current, third-party ROM messages will only be displayed if the third-party manufacturer
has set the add-on device to do so.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
This item allows you to select whether IDE/SCSI devices can trap interrupt 19. After POST, the BIOS calls the
interrupt 19 bootstrap loader to load the operating system (for example, from a bootable device controlled by
a IDE/SCSI adapter other than the ones on your Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board). The interrupt 19
bootstrap loader attempts to load the operating system according to the boot priority list.
When set to Disabled, no IDE/SCSI device can trap interrupt 19 and boot the unit.
When set to Enabled, an IDE/SCSI device can trap interrupt 19 and boot the unit.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
These items allow you to select the boot order of the hard drives and CD/DVD ROM drives connected to your
Matrox Supersight SHB-5520. The exact items displayed depend on the devices connected.
To change the hard drive to boot from first, refer to the Hard Drive BBS Priorities submenu.
To change the CD/DVD ROM drive to boot from first (if present), refer to the CD/DVD ROM Drive BBS
Priorities submenu.

CD/DVD ROM Drive BBS Priorities submenu

The CD/DVD ROM Drive BBS Priorities submenu allows you to select which
of the one or more CD/DVD ROM Drives available to your Matrox Supersight
SHB-5520, should be the first device selected when booting.
❖ Note that only devices installed on your Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 will be
listed.
