Connecting a USB device

The Matrox Supersight unit includes USB ports (USB 2.0 and 1.1 compatible)
for USB devices. You can connect any USB-compliant mouse, keyboard, printer,
or other USB device to the USB ports. You can also connect a USB hub, which
can be used to connect multiple USB devices to the Matrox Supersight unit.
The USB ports are found in the following locations:
• There are four USB ports on the front panel of the Matrox Supersight unit that
connect to the first Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
Before you can connect USB devices to the front of the unit, unlock the front
panel using the provided key and open the front panel.
• There are two USB ports on the bracket of each installed Matrox Supersight
SHB-5520 board, accessible on the back panel of the unit.
• There is one USB header on each installed Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board,
allowing you to connect a USB flash module or two additional 4-pin USB devices.
Note that the USB header requires a customized bracket in order to be accessible
from outside of the chassis.
