USB Configuration sub-submenu

The USB Configuration sub-submenu allows you to configure specific settings
of the USB ports.
❖ Note that, for these changes to take effect, your Matrox Supersight SHB-5520
must be completely powered down and then booted.
Setting the items below to the wrong values can cause the unit to malfunction.
Meaning
This item allows you to enable all USB devices connected to the USB ports.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
This item enables the enhanced Host controller interface (EHCI), which is required to support USB 2.0
high-speed devices.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.
These items allow you to enable high speed (480 Mbps) USB access for each of the EHCI controllers on your
Matrox Supersight SHB-5520.
Note that, unless specific compatibility issues are noted when using older USB devices, it is recommended
to leave these items at their default setting.
These items allow you to enable the universal Host controller interface (UHCI) controllers, for full speed
(12 Mbps) and low speed (1.5 Mbps) USB 1.0 devices.
The default setting for all controllers is Enabled except for UHCI Controller 5.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board. Unless
specific compatibility issues are noted when using USB 2.0 compliant devices, it is recommended to leave
these items enabled.
These items control specific USB ports. For the USB ports to be available, the associated UHCI controller
must be set to Enabled.
