iSCSI menu

This section allows you to name your Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 with an
identifier recognized by iSCSI. Refer to the section entitledThe Legend window
subsection of the The BIOS setup utility section for guidelines on navigating within
this menu.
Meaning
This item allows you to give your Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 a iSCSI-qualified name (IQN). This initiator
name is used when requesting data from remote storage devices over a network.
Note that the default setting of this value is optimized for the Matrox Supersight SHB-5520 board.

Boot menu

This section describes all the items of the Boot menu. Refer to the section
entitledThe Legend window subsection of the The BIOS setup utility section for
guidelines on navigating within this menu.
❖ Note that all default settings have an asterisk * next to them.
Meaning
This item allows you to enable quiet boot. A quiet boot does not show POST messages.
When Enabled, a Matrox logo is displayed, but the POST messages are not displayed.
When Disabled, no Matrox logo is displayed, instead the AMI logo and the POST messages are displayed.
This item allows you to set the number of seconds to wait for the Setup key to be pressed during POST. By
default, turning this type a manufacturer logo is displayed.
This item allows you to select the status for the numeric keypad after bootup.
The On option of this item causes the numeric keys on the keypad to be active (Numlock on). The Off option
causes the cursor (arrow) keys on the keypad to be active (Numlock off).
This item reports the version of the 16-bit compatibility support module (CSM16) available for older operating
systems. This module contains specific BIOS settings to support low-level legacy hardware, such as, serial
ports. The module version number is provided for future debugging purposes.
