(C) Motor constant parameters

Purpose
To select the motor to be used
To run by maximizing the performance
of the induction and vector motors
To run by maximizing the performance
of the PM motor
To perform high accuracy operation
without being affected by
temperature and high-torque/ultra-
low speed
To use the motor with encoder
To detect signal loss of encoder signals Signal loss detection
5.13.1

Applied motor

By setting the applied motor type, the thermal characteristic appropriate for the motor can be selected.
When using a constant-torque or PM motor, the electronic thermal O/L relay is set according to the
used motor.
If the Advanced magnetic flux vector control, Real sensorless vector control, vector control or PM sen-
sorless vector control is selected, the motor constant necessary for control (SF-PR, SF-JR, SF-HR, SF-JR-
CA, SF-HRCA, SF-V5RU (1500 r/min series), MM-CF, etc.) is also selected at the same time.
