Selecting the operation mode for power-ON (Pr. 340)
Depending on the Pr. 79 and Pr. 340 settings, the operation mode at power-ON (reset) changes as de-
scribed below.

Use Pr. 340 = "2 or 12" setting to perform communication with the RS-485 terminals.
Even if an instantaneous power failure occurs while Pr. 57 "Restart coasting time" ≠ "9999" (with
automatic restart after instantaneous power failure), inverter continues operation at the condition
before the instantaneous failure.
The operation mode cannot be directly changed between the PU operation mode and Network
operation mode.
Switching between the PU and NET operation modes is available with the PU/EXT key on the
operation panel and the X65 signal.
