Alarm

Output is not shut off when a protective function activates. An alarm can also be output with a pa-
rameter setting.
(Set "98" in Pr. 190 to Pr. 196 (output terminal function selection). (Refer to page 5-378.)

EHR
Ethernet communication fault (FR-A800-E only)
Appears when Ethernet communication is interrupted by physical factors while Pr. 1431
"Ethernet signal loss detection function selection" = "1 or 2".
Check that the Ethernet board is installed onto the connector securely.
Check for a break in the Ethernet cable.
Connect the Ethernet board securely.
Check that the Ethernet cable is correctly connected to the Ethernet connector. Check that
the Ethernet cable is not broken.
FN
Fan alarm
For the inverter that contains a cooling fan, "FN" appears on the operation panel when the
cooling fan stops due to a fault, low rotation speed or different operation from the setting of
Pr. 244 "Cooling fan operation selection".
Check the cooling fan for a failure.
The fan may be faulty. Please contact your sales representative.
FN2
Internal fan alarm (IP55 compatible models only)
FN2 appears on the operation panel when the internal air circulation fan stops due to a fault or
low rotation speed.
Check the internal air circulation fan for a failure.
The fan may be faulty. Please contact your sales representative.
