Minimum motor speed frequency

Set the frequency where the PM motor starts running.
Set the deadband in the low-speed range to eliminate noise and offset deviation when setting a fre-
quency with analog input.
Pr.

F102
Starting frequency setting (Pr. 13)
● The frequency where the PM motor starts running can be set in the range of 0 to 60 Hz.
● While the frequency command is less than the Pr. 13 "Starting frequency" setting, the PM motor
is stopped.
When the frequency command reaches the set frequency or higher, the PM motor accelerates
according to the Pr. 7 "Acceleration time" setting.

NOTES
Under induction motor control (under V/F control and Advanced magnetic flux vector control),
the output starts at the frequency set in Pr. 13. Under PM motor control, the output always starts
at 0.01 Hz.
The inverter output does not start when the frequency-setting signal is less than Pr. 13. For exam-
ple, while Pr. 13 = "20 Hz", the inverter output starts when the frequency setting signal reaches
20 Hz.
CAUTION:
E
Note that when Pr. 13 is set to any value equal to or lower than the setting of Pr. 2 "Minimum
frequency", simply turning ON the start signal will run the motor at the frequency set in Pr. 2
even if the command frequency is not input.
