GD stands for global data. Global data serve to exchange smaller volumes of
data between two or several automation components.
The data exchange is carried out by the operating systems of the automation
components involved. This has the advantage that no further programming is
required with respect to this communication.
Communication using global data is arranged by so-called GD circles. A GD
circle is unambiguously marked by its GD circle number.
The GD circle parameters of a node (here: HHU) must be set for SEND and
RECEIVE separately.
