SINUMERIK 840Di Manual (HBI) – 06.03 Edition
When clearance-coded reference marks are used, referencing is divided into 2
phases:
1. Synchronizing by overtraveling 2 reference marks
2. Traversing to target point
Velocity
Phase 1
The following machine data and interface signals are independent with re-
spect to the individual phases of reference point approach:
S
MD11300: JOG_INC_MODE_LEVELTRIGGRD (INC/REF in jog mode)
S
MD34000: REFP_CAM_IS_ACTIVE (axis with reference cam)
S
MD34110: REFP_CYCLE_NR (axis sequence with channel-specific refer-
ence point approach)
S
MD 30240: ENC_TYPE (encoder type)
S
Set MD 34200: ENC_REFP_MODE (referencing mode)
S
MD 34310: ENC_MARKER_INC (interval between two reference marks)
S
MD 34320: ENC_INVERS (inverse measuring system)
S
IS: DB21, ... DBX1.0 ("Activate referencing")
S
IS: DB21, ... DBX33.0 ("Referencing active").
The following machine data and interface signals are important:
S
MD34010: REFP_VELO_SEARCH_CAM (reference cam approach in the
negative direction)
