After synchronization to the equidistant DP cycle has been activated for all DP
slaves, the timer requirement of the cyclic portion of DP communication must be
calculated.
Calculation is performed by the DP master on activation of the equidistant bus
cycle.

When calculating the cyclic portion of the PROFIBUS communication, the time
for the equidistant DP cycle is automatically changed to the time required as the
minimum. This change must be undone by reentering the time intended for the
equidistant DP cycle.
