Please observe the following general rules when handling batteries:

Do not charge them!
S
Do not heat or burn them!
S
Do not drill or squeeze them!
S
Do not manipulate them in any other fashion neither mechanically, nor
electrically!
Caution
Improper handling of backup batteries results in the hazard of inflammation,
burning or explosion.
The 3V lithium battery to back up the SRAMs and the clock module is monitored
in stages:
Battery voltage
2.7 ... 2.9V
2.4 ... 2.6V
The alarm "2101 NCK battery alarm" is output if battery low voltage is detected
in cyclic operation.
The alarm "2102 NCK battery alarm" is output if battery low voltage is detected
during power-up.
