ZXR10 2900E Series Command Reference

4.2.23 show cable-diag

Purpose
This command shows the numbers, up/down status, and virtual line detection results of all
ports.

Syntax
show cable-diag
Guidelines
If a port does not support VCT, N/A is displayed. For an FE port, two pairs (MDI[0] and
MDI[1]) of detection results are displayed. For a GE port, four pairs (MDI[0] and MDI[1])
of detection results are displayed.

4.2.24 set port protect

Purpose
This command enables or disables the port protection function.

Syntax
set port <portlist> protect {enable | disable}

Guidelines
After the port protection function is enabled, when the number of down times is greater
than or equal to 3 within 30 seconds, the port will be blocked for a protection period. After
the protection period expires, the port becomes active again.
