Guidelines
The time interval for sending ZDP packets must match ZDP holdtime. If not, discovery
failure occurs. In general, the holdtime should be six times of the time interval for sending
ZDP packets.
Default
The default time interval for sending ZDP packets is 30 seconds.
Example
The following example sets the time interval for sending ZDP packets to five seconds:
zte(cfg-group)#set zdp timer 5

Purpose
This command sets ZDP holdtime.

set zdp holdtime <10-255>

The default time is 180 seconds.

The following example sets ZDP holdtime to 100 seconds:
