Purpose
This command sets the symbol period event of link monitoring.

Guidelines
The symbol period is determined by the number of symbols collected by the switch within
a specified time period. That is, when a certain number of symbols is collected, a period
is finished. A link alarm event occurs if the number of the collected incorrect symbols
exceeds the threshold value ruled by the period.
Default
The number of incorrect symbols collected in a unit period is 1.
The period of symbol numbers is 1.

The following example sets the number of the incorrect symbols collected in a unit time to
1 and the symbol period to 30:

Period of symbol amounts. The unit is millions. For example, 30
means that a period is every 30 millions symbols are collected.
