ZXR10 2900E Series Command Reference
Guidelines
The specified ports send oampdu link discovery messages in accordance with the period.
When the discovery is successful, if oampdu messages are not received within the timeout
time, the discovery fails. Ports in active mode can actively send oampdu messages. A port
in passive mode can only passively receive messages. When both end ports of a link are
in passive mode, the link discovery cannot be created.
Default
The active discovery mode is configured.
Example
The following example sets the sending period of oampdu to 100 milliseconds, timeout
duration to 5 seconds, and discovery mode to active:
zte(cfg)#set ethernet-oam port 1 period 1 timeout 5 mode active

Purpose
This command sets the timeout duration of ports' remote loopback function.

Syntax
set ethernet-oam remote-loopback timeout <1-10>
Parameter Description
Parameter
<1-10>
Guidelines
The remote loopback timeout time is suggested to be at least 3 times larger than the port
oampdu sending period.
Default
3 seconds.
Example
The following example sets the timeout time of ports' remote loopback function to 5
seconds:
