This section describes settings for functions such as Paper Feed Settings, Paper Output Settings, Print Settings, Scan

Settings, and Generate File.

When copying/printing with the machine, a paper source loaded with the required paper size can be

automatically selected and another paper source loaded with the same paper can be automatically switched to

when paper runs out. This setting enables the paper source to be automatically switched for each function,

such as the Copy or Print function.

Automatically selects the paper source according to the settings selected in <Select Color> when copying.

When using paper with different front and reverse sides, such as paper with a logo printed on it, you can set

this to <Print Side Priority> to print the first page to the front side for both one-sided and two-sided printing,

without having to change the paper orientation.

The settings for Automatic Paper Selection and Auto Drawer Switching are disabled for paper sources

with <Print Side Priority> set. The print speed is also slower when performing one-sided printing.

If this setting is set to <On> and the machine does not have the specified paper when a job is received, that job

is suspended and the machine prints the next job.

If a job is suspended because paper has run out during the job, the next job is not processed even

after the designated suspension time elapses.
